I created a custom print to transform into a garment. I designed 3D shapes and a halftone effect using Illustrator and Photoshop, paired with the phrase “The Mighty Aphrodite” a personal mantra from my youth that has become central to my design identity. Printed on rib stock polyester in light purple and silver, the design required over four silk screens and was printed in sections for an organic effect. After quilting the fabric with polyester batting, I created “The Mighty Puffer,” a unique fusion of print and form.
